The Heelless version of the model 23 uses the heelless chimney (R910-2 original) and NEW R910-500 which slips into a crown looking gallery having about 15 little fingers of metal to hold it in place.

OR

The Lox-On version of the Model 23 lamps uses the Lox-on R103 chimney which twists into the metal gallery. (the R103 chimney has 3 little glass tabs that twist under the little metal tabs in the gallery)
